Research group SINGACOM and IMUVA-Mathematics Research Institute

Aguilar de Campoo (Palencia), January 22nd-26th 2023

The meeting

We will celebrate the Kick-off workshop of our project secureCAT on January 22nd-26th 2023 at Aguilar de Campoo, mountains of Palencia. The arrival date is Sunday January 22nd in the evening, we will have dinner together. The talks and discussion in groups will be from Monday January 23rd in the morning to Thursday January 26th in the evening (after lunch).

Lodging and meals

All meals, accommodation and talks will be at Hotel Valentín. We have already made the reservation for you.

Travelling to Aguilar

There is a train connection (line line Madrid-Valladolid-Aguilar-Santander). There is also a bus connection with ALSA from Madrid and Madrid airport T4. Reaching the hotel from the station can be done by taxi at a very cheap rate (Taxi info). In any case, there are very few direct connections from Madrid. Hence, you can also plan your trip to Valladolid. Some of us will drive our car from Valladolid (1 hour 30 minutes), you are welcome to join us and travel by car from Valladolid to Aguilar de Campoo. Let us know your travel plans if you want to join us in one of our cars.

Travelling back home

You are welcome to travel back home on Thursday. You are also welcome to travel with us by car from Aguilar to Valladolid on Thursday and then stay one or two nights in Valladolid before coming back home. Let us know if we should book a hotel for you at Valladolid.

Excursion

We will visit the town and the "Horadada" canyon.
