SecureCAT | Follow-up workshop

Research group SINGACOM and IMUVA-Mathematics Research Institute

Aguilar de Campoo (Palencia), January 10th-12th 2024

The meeting

We will celebrate the Follow-up workshop of our project secureCAT on January 10th-12th 2024 at Aguilar de Campoo, mountains of Palencia. The arrival date is Tuesday January 9th in the evening-night, we will have dinner together. The talks and discussion in groups will be from Wednesday January 10th in the morning to Friday January 12th in the morning and the meeting will end on Friday evening.

Lodging, meals and location of the talks and seminars

All meals and accommodation will be at Hotel Valentín. We have already made the reservation for you. The talks will be held at Monasterio Santa María la Real which is at walking distance from the hotel (map).

Travelling to Aguilar

There is a train connection (line line Madrid-Valladolid-Aguilar-Santander). There is also a bus connection with ALSA from Madrid and Madrid airport T4. Reaching the hotel from the station can be done by taxi at a very cheap rate (Taxi info). In any case, there are very few direct connections from Madrid. Hence, you can also plan your trip to Valladolid. Some of us will drive our car from Valladolid (1 hour 30 minutes), you are welcome to join us and travel by car from Valladolid to Aguilar de Campoo. Let us know your travel plans if you want to join us in one of our cars.

Travelling back home

You are also welcome to travel with us by car from Aguilar to Valladolid on Friday and then stay one or two nights in Valladolid before coming back home. Let us know if we should book a hotel for you at Valladolid.

Temptative schedule. Details will follow later. There will be a presentation of the current state of the project research lines on Tuesday. Then there will be a combination of talks and work in groups.
