This is the web page of the CACTC session to be held at the 22nd Conference on Applications of Computer Algebra

ACA 2016

http://www.mathematik.uni-kassel.de/ACA2016/index.php

August 1st-4th, 2016, Kassel University Germany

We take up the baton of the organization of this session (21st Edition) with a long tradition in the ACA conference.

Former Editions:

  1. CACTC-2014

  2. CACTC-2015

This session aims to bring together researchers from all areas related to computer algebra (both theoretical and algorithmic) applied to Coding theory and Cryptography.

Since much of the work related to these topics is recent or is still ongoing, this session will provide a stimulating forum where experts will be able to not only report their recent results, but also to propose new lines of research and discuss open questions.

It will also give us the opportunity to present the interest and the potential applications of thess topics to the rest of the scientific community.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Computer Algebra in Coding Theory

Codes and applications, Combinatorial structures, Algebraic-geometric codes, Network coding, Quantum codes, Group codes, ...
  • Computer Algebra in Cryptography

Algebraic Cryptanalysis, Post-quantum cryptography, (Code, Lattice and Hash)-based PKC, Multivariate PKC, ...
  • Synergies between Computer Algebra, Coding Theory and Cryptography

Submissions should be sent to the session organizers following the ACA 2016 guidelines.
