Welcome to Computer Algebra

Aspects Finite Rings

and Their Applications

This is the web page of the CAAFRTA session to be held at the 20th Conference on Applications of Computer Algebra, July 9 - 12, 2014. Fordham University, NY.

This is the first edition of a special session at ACA conference devoted to providing a forum for exchange of ideas and research results related to Computer Algebra Aspects of Finite Rings in a broad sense and also to their applications. (Check as an example the topics covered by the chapter A. A. Nechaev, Finite rings with applications in the Handbook of Algebra.)

It is planned to have 8-10 1/2 hour contributed talks in the session. Submissions of extended abstracts should be sent to the session organizers following the ACA 2014 guidelines and deadlines. The submitted extended abstracts will be reviewed for soundness and relevance to the session.

Authors of the accepted extended abstracts will be invited to submit their full revised papers for publication in a special issue of the Springer journal Applicable Algebra in Engineering, Communication and Computing related to the topic.

People interested in this session could be also interested in the following ACA activities:
